Publishing Conditions

These conditions describe how content is published on EchoVerdict.
Imported content
Reviews arrive from an authorised publishing partner. Each review keeps its original author, wording, rating and date where known. EchoVerdict records its own publication date separately and never presents an imported review as firsthand testimony.
Rights
A review is accepted only when the sender confirms rights to republish it. The rights basis is recorded privately.
Moderation
New reviews are held for moderation unless the administrator has enabled automatic publication. Reviews can be withdrawn at any time, which removes them from listings and rating totals.
Ratings
Averages and counts are calculated only from published reviews that carry a star rating. Unrated reviews are never counted as zero stars.
Demo collection
The demo collection contains fictional businesses and sample reviews. It is kept separate from real listings and totals.
Directory profiles
Directory profiles are editorial records. Their identity and personal experience have not been independently verified, and a review is linked to a profile only where authorship has been established.
